Fun! Fun! Fun! The animals were out and active, up close & personal. The camel stuck his head inside our van and stole the bag of food.
Cherokee Trace is so much fun! They have over 700 animals,on 300 Acres of wooded trees and winding roads,in East Texas. There is everything from Alligators to Zebras, and many different types of deer and Antelope, Buffalo, and Watusi! I just Thoroughly enjoy myself when I go there, you can ride in your car and feed the animals, and Rupert the camel is a wonderful Site! He steals everything that isn't nailed down.. They Are very friendly at Cherokee Trace, I will for sure continue to go back, and tell my friends and family... Thanks!
I don't know how this company stays in business because they are not making any money turning people away!
This place is awesome. Took the family there and that's really enjoyed it. The animals are hilarious. Just be sure you get enough food. We ran through the "free" bags that come with the tickets by 1/4 of the way in. The kids will definitely have fun feeding the animals
We stopped in the visit two days in a row. Day 1 we were 7 minutes past the gate closing time, which is 4pm, and the guard wouldn't let us in. Day 2 it had rained the night before and the guard wouldn't let us in because he said the roads were muddy.
Excellent, fun filled afternoon for four geriatric adults. Our encounters with they very unafraid animals were filled with laughs and screams. Watch out for the gang of zebras and their side kick - the camel (he is big). The zebras act like they want to sit in your lap while the camel will steal your bag of food. It was a great trip. None of the animals raised up on our car. It took us about 2.5 hours to drive through.
